I thought it would be fun to write up some of our special memories; you know those moments you can think of that bring a smile to your face regardless of how bad a day was. So without further ado, here are a few random memories for the day!
back on september 10th of last year was the first time Alyssa said "I love you" to me. Of course, it was accidental in that she didn't mean to vocalize what she was thinking since we hadn't been together for that long. The situation was we were in the snack shop at BJU with Amy and Jason (for those who don't know the names here; they helped me propose :D ). I don't know what I said or did but Alyssa was laughing so hard and smiling from ear to ear (on a side note, she has an amazing smile... like WOW) and just let slip "I love you." She then apologized that evening as we were walking down a well-light path with Amy and Jason, but frankly I was thinking the same thing so I just told her that it was completely fine. I didn't say "I love you" at that point even though she was gaining my affections at an amazing rate just by hanging around her once a week and talking on the phone.
Another memory is the first time she said "aaaawwww, SQUISH" and squished my leg for a second. It was really cute because once again she was laughing at or with me (I don't mind even if she was laughing at me since she was laughing either way haha). This was the time my dad was driving us with Amy and Jason again.
Oh oh, last weekend (2-18-11 for future reference) we made a shrimp pasta with blacken shrimp. It was delicious! I am talking... mmmm... SO TASTY...seconds please! She is definitely the head chef and puts me to work ;) I love it. We cooked for my sister and my parents for a late valentine's day dinner. It was fun to listen to music and bounce around the kitchen while cooking :) I love cooking with Alyssa. It is so fun since we don't really use a recipe haha.
The next day (2-19-11) we went to La Fonda with some of my family where we got the best guacamole ever! Alyssa said she really didn't like guac but I knew that she just must have had bad guac. Bad guacamole is really bad. lol. She said she liked la fonda guac :D
